Restoring a garden to make it a feature

We all know how dreary a property can look when the garden has been let go for too long. It becomes an unpleasant experience walking through it. It devalues the appeal of the property and this is particularly important if you decide you want to sell or rent out the property.

Usually the garden will start to look haggard if the plants, shrubs and trees have been neglected, ie they're just growing out of control. Also if a lawn has been left to grow uncontrollably and begins to invade garden and pathway spaces.

At Tappy's garden care we specialise in identifying trouble spots and creating innovative and inexpensive transformation ideas. Most often times there'll be hidden gems just waiting to be uncovered. At one such property we discovered a beautiful set of bluestone steps that was hidden beneath weeds and soil. At another we found a lovely bluestone wall that had been buried beneath layers of soil. At another property we were able to highlight a dry creek bed, full of river pebbles and make it the standout feature it was originally designed to be.

Once your garden gets to a point where you feel the task of restoring it is unmanageable and too large for you to handle, we're able to help by taking a completely objective perspective and based on our previous experience, come up with a plan to return it to a point where you'll be able to both enjoy the space but to also manage it going forward.

Whilst our approach is making a garden attractive it also needs to manageable when we leave and for years into the future, so we're very careful to make plant, shrub and tree selections that will be complementary to a reduced maintenance program.

Feel free to give us a call to have a chat about the problems you want a fresh approach for in your garden.
